SUSA was born in 1949 in Perugia. Our first business was mainly represented by transportation of food products in Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany area. The first three operative branches where located in Perugia, Rome and Florence. During the '60s, two new branches were opened: Bologna and Milan. They soon gained strategic importance for our business. Between 1970 and 1980, we became an S.p.A. and our national distributive network became complete. Our current network is made of 22 branches and 4 distribution centres in Palermo, Catania, Cagliari and Sassari. These hubs are available 24h and their staff is made by a Branch Manager, an Administrative Manager, a Warehouse/Traffic Manager. In addition, each shift has got its own dock operator. Each peripheral unit is linked with the central server at the Headquarters in Perugia. This system allows the information interchange with the Customers during the whole delivery process.
