AN EFFICIENT FLEET

Our fleet transports goods in total security throughout Italian and European territory. It is made up of over 100 vehicles, which are constantly checked for maximum safety. 90% of our vehicles have a tail lift, so loading and unloading operations are simpler, safer and faster.  Susa knows how best to adapt its choice of vehicle to the load and the peculiarities of the place of delivery, personalizing the service in the choice of size and suitability of one of our fleet.

 

A CAPILLARY NETWORK

The 5 logistics centers and 45 distribution centers guarantee optimal organization; the continuous drive towards growth leads us to constantly evaluate the opening of new offices and branches. Our distribution centers perform well thanks to the constant presence of several employees, who keep the loading and sorting system active 24 hours a day. Finally, the management of logistics at the customers' warehouses allows us to customize the service, reaching high levels of efficiency.

How does this translate to our daily activity?

  • We optimize loads to reduce our trips (and therefore emissions).
  • We study routes to drive only the neccessary kilometres.
  • We sensitize our drivers to conscious driving, which minimizes fuel consumption.
  • In our new offices and in the restoration of existing plants we implement strategies to reduce consumption (such as the use of LED lights and sensors for energy saving) and to produce clean energy (such as solar and photovoltaic panels).
  • In all our centres, we minimize the use of packaging or storage material and we carefully dedicate ourselves to separate waste collection.
 

A FUNCTIONAL COMPUTER SYSTEM

Reliability and traceability are the key points that we want to guarantee in all of our services. For this reason we have implemented an advanced computer system that easily tracks the goods, both during storage and logistics management, and during transport. Our employees are equipped with 1000 radio frequency barcode readers for inventory control and 1000 handhelds for data transmission.
